This course requires competition of an Online Course and Skills Practical. 

Course Overview 

The HeartCode® ACLS course is a blended learning 2-step program that requires an online component and an in person skills practical. The online component of HeartCode® ACLS uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students ACLS knowledge and skills in the comfort of their own home. The in person skills practical consists of meeting with one of our AHA instructors either in a class, or at your home or office in order to demonstrate proper knowledge of ACLS skills.

 

How To Complete The Course

  1. Complete the HeartCode® ACLS online portion (Go to https://shopcpr.heart.org/ to purchase)
  2. Print out certificate of completion
  3. Attend scheduled skills session 
  4. Receive your AHA ACLS provider eCard

 

This course REQUIRES students to complete an online portion before attending the skills session.

The American Heart Association (AHA) strongly promotes knowledge and profiency in all courses and have developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorhship by the AHA.

Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.

All Instructor-led provider courses are subject to cancellations the day before the scheduled course, if there are less than five students registered. Those students that are registered will be given the option to complete the course in a blended format instead. Student is responsible for paying the difference for the blended option. All refunds strictly follow our terms and conditions policies.
